Türkiye's 2027 revaluation rate set at 27.83%
Türkiye's revaluation rate for 2027 has been calculated at 27.83%, following the release of October 2026 Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) data by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).
The rate increased by 2.34 percentage points from last year's 25.49%. The annual revaluation rate is determined based on the 12-month average change in the D-PPI as of October and serves as the basis for adjusting numerous taxes, fees, and penalties.
Under the calculated rate, increases are expected in 2027 for Motor Vehicle Tax (MTV), passport and driver's license fees, traffic fines, IMEI registration fees for mobile phones brought from abroad, and various other tax categories. However, the President has the authority to adjust the rate for certain taxes and fees, while this authority does not extend to administrative fines. The new amounts will be finalized following the official announcement of the revaluation rate through a communiqué published by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance in the Official Gazette.
