All eyes on US housing market data
An important economic indicator reflecting the outlook for the US housing sector is scheduled for release on Monday, October 19, 2026.
The October Housing Market Index, compiled by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), will be published at 5:00 p.m. Türkiye time.
The index, which stood at 32 points in September, is expected to decline to 31 points in October. It measures homebuilders' assessments of current sales conditions, sales expectations over the next six months, and prospective buyer traffic.
