Key U.S. services PMI data in focus
The U.S. ISM Services Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for October is scheduled for release on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Türkiye time.
The index measures business conditions in the services sector, which accounts for a significant share of the U.S. economy, and is closely monitored as an indicator of economic growth. A reading above 50 signals expansion in the sector, while a reading below 50 indicates contraction.
The employment, new orders, and prices paid components will provide important signals about demand conditions and inflationary pressures in the U.S. economy. With expectations surrounding the Federal Reserve's December interest rate decision gaining attention, the results could influence the U.S. Dollar Index, Treasury yields, and equity markets. Investors will closely monitor both the pace of growth in the services sector and changes in companies' operating costs.
