Alphabet earnings spotlight cloud and advertising

Google parent Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOGL, GOOG) is scheduled to release third-quarter 2026 earnings after the U.S. market closes on Wednesday, October 28. Its earnings conference call will begin at 4:30 p.m. ET, with the financial results published beforehand. Analysts expect approximately $111.6 billion in revenue and $2.94 in earnings per share. Revenue estimates should be compared using consistent reporting definitions.

Investors will focus on Google Cloud revenue growth, search advertising performance, YouTube revenue and the commercial contribution of Gemini AI products. Data-center investments, operating margins and the capital expenditure outlook will also influence market expectations. Strong cloud and advertising results could support Alphabet shares, while elevated AI infrastructure costs and weaker cash flow could offset otherwise positive quarterly performance.
