Gasoline prices cut by TL 6 in Türkiye
The sharp decline in global oil prices has led to a reduction in fuel prices in Türkiye.
Following Brent crude's drop to $93.89 per barrel, gasoline prices were reduced by TL 6 per liter effective midnight on November 6, 2026. After the price cut, gasoline prices fell to TL 74.52 per liter in Istanbul, TL 75.42 in Ankara, TL 75.62 in Izmir, and TL 77.02 in eastern provinces.
Expectations that Republican losses in the U.S. midterm elections could increase the likelihood of a diplomatic resolution with Iran contributed to the decline in oil prices. The recovery of oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz and expectations of a global supply surplus of 1.4 million barrels per day further intensified downward pressure on crude prices. Developments in energy markets remain important in determining the direction of fuel prices in Türkiye.
