Borsa Istanbul's weekly winners revealed
Borsa Istanbul experienced heavy selling pressure during the week of October 19–23, 2026, with the BIST 100 index falling 5.16% to close at 11,116.99 points.
According to weekly performance data, only 44 of the 632 listed stocks recorded gains, while 584 declined and four remained unchanged. Among stocks in the BIST All Shares Index, Gündoğdu Gıda (GUNDG) was the week's top performer, surging 31.68%. It was followed by Odine Teknoloji (ODINE), up 24.32%, Doğanlar Mobilya (DGNMO), up 16.01%, Biotrend Enerji (BIOEN), up 15.97%, and Rainbow Polikarbonat (RNPOL), up 15.43%.
Tera Finansal Yatırımlar Holding (TRHOL) recorded the steepest weekly decline, plunging 40.90%. Ufuk Yatırım (UFUK), Destek Finans Faktoring (DSTKF), and Tera Yatırım Menkul Değerler (TERA) each lost 40.86%, while Altınkılıç Gıda (ALKLC) fell 40.85%. Selling pressure persisted despite the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) cutting its policy interest rate to 36%, with the overwhelming majority of listed stocks ending the week in negative territory.
