Borsa Istanbul's weekly winners and losers revealed
The steepest weekly decline was recorded by 1000 Yatırımlar Holding (BINHO), whose shares plunged 26.32%. Tekfen Holding (TKFEN) fell 23.77%, Astor Enerji (ASTOR) dropped 18.40%, Katmerciler (KATMR) lost 16.34%, and CW Enerji (CWENE) declined 15.05%. Notably, gains among the BIST 100's five best-performing stocks remained below 3%, while losses among the five worst performers exceeded 15%.
Selling pressure dominated Borsa Istanbul during the week of October 12–16.
The BIST 100 index fell 4.44% over the week, closing at 11,721.72 points after trading between 11,653.38 and 12,291.17. Akfen Renewable Energy (AKFYE) was the index's top-performing stock, gaining 2.89%. It was followed by IC Enterra Renewable Energy (ENTRA), up 2.57%, Sabancı Holding (SAHOL), up 2.16%, İşbank (ISCTR), up 1.74%, and Garanti BBVA (GARAN), up 1.70%.
