China's services PMI slows to 50.8

China's RatingDog services purchasing managers' index fell to 50.8 in October from 51.6 in September, according to figures released on November 4.

Activity remained above the 50-point expansion threshold but grew at its slowest pace since July. Export business increased for a sixth consecutive month, while input costs rose at their fastest rate in five months. No verified consensus forecast or revision to the previous reading was provided.

The slowdown points to continued pressure on Chinese domestic demand and corporate profitability. Falling selling prices alongside rising costs could compress service-sector margins. The data may influence expectations for additional PBOC support, although they do not establish that a new easing decision is imminent.
