Eczacıbaşı İlaç's credit rating downgraded

JCR Eurasia Rating downgraded the long-term national issuer credit rating of EİS Eczacıbaşı İlaç, Sınai ve Finansal Yatırımlar AŞ (ECILC) from AA+(tr) to A+(tr).

According to the rating results dated October 23, 2026, the company's national credit rating outlook was assigned as stable, while its long-term international foreign- and local-currency credit ratings stood at BB. The decision marks a significant change in the company's financial risk profile.

The downgrade is expected to draw attention to Eczacıbaşı İlaç's financing conditions and borrowing capacity. However, the stable outlook indicates that the rating agency does not currently anticipate another rating change in the near term under existing conditions. Investors will monitor the potential impact of the downgrade on the company's financial structure and upcoming financial results.
