Economic confidence hits 39-month high
Türkiye’s economic confidence index rose 0.7% in September from the previous month, climbing from 100.6 to 101.3.
The index reached its highest level since June 2023, extending its upward trend for a third consecutive month. The consumer confidence index also increased by 1.3% to 91.9.
According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the real sector confidence index rose 0.1% to 102.5, while the retail trade confidence index increased 1.1% to 111.3. Services sector confidence remained unchanged at 111.9, while the construction sector confidence index fell 0.2% to 83.
