Inflation falls below 30% in Türkiye
Türkiye’s monthly inflation came in at 1.84% in September, while annual inflation declined to 29.73%.
This brought annual consumer inflation below the 30% level. Annual inflation had stood at 31.51% in August.
Economists had expected monthly inflation to average 2.18% in September. The reported increase of 1.84% came in below expectations, while the downward trend in annual inflation continued.
