Critical day for Türkiye's inflation data
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) is scheduled to release October consumer inflation data on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Türkiye time.
In September, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 1.84% month over month and 29.73% year over year. Economists' surveys indicate that monthly inflation expectations for October range from 2.11% to 2.42%, while annual inflation is expected to decline slightly.
The upcoming figures will be crucial for the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye's (CBRT) monetary policy outlook and year-end inflation expectations. Price movements in food, housing, transportation, and services will be closely monitored. A higher-than-expected inflation reading could influence market expectations for interest rate cuts, while a lower figure could reinforce confidence in the disinflation process.
