Erdoğan addresses fund investigation
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said the necessary steps regarding the fund investigation are being taken gradually, adding that the State Supervisory Council is examining the issue in all its aspects.
Erdoğan said procedures are underway to repay investors’ savings without placing a burden on public finances, while the Fund Coordination Board, chaired by the Vice President, continues its work. He added that those who obtained illicit gains would be held accountable before Turkish courts.
