Eurozone confidence weakens as PMI holds firm

The Sentix Investor Confidence Index fell to 2.7, below the 4.5 forecast and the previous reading of 5.1.

The weaker-than-expected result indicates that investor optimism about the Eurozone economic outlook has declined.

Economic activity, however, remained in expansion territory. The Composite PMI held at 53.1, while the Services PMI stood at 53.0, both matching expectations.

Readings above 50 indicate continued expansion, although the weaker Sentix figure suggests investors remain cautious about the outlook.
