Fed and CBRT to meet in Istanbul
The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) will host leading central bank officials from around the world at the Istanbul Economic Forum on October 8-9.
Fed Governor Christopher Waller will also deliver a speech on the economic outlook at the forum.
CBRT Governor Fatih Karahan and Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek will also attend the forum, which will address global economic fragmentation, monetary policy amid uncertainty, debt dynamics, and the impact of artificial intelligence and digital innovation on macroeconomic policies. Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey will also be among the participants.
