Fed rate hike probability falls to 19%
Market expectations for an interest rate hike have weakened ahead of the Federal Reserve's October monetary policy meeting.
According to current market pricing, the probability of the Fed keeping interest rates unchanged has risen to approximately 81%, while the likelihood of a rate hike has declined to 19%.
Investors are now focused on the US September consumer inflation report, scheduled for release on October 14. Higher-than-expected inflation could revive expectations that the Fed will maintain its restrictive monetary policy stance.
Rising energy prices and persistently elevated US Treasury yields remain among the key risk factors influencing the Fed's upcoming policy decisions.
