Goldman Sachs increases stake in Sabancı Holding

US investment bank Goldman Sachs has purchased additional shares in Sabancı Holding (SAHOL), increasing its ownership stake in the company to more than 3%.

According to a disclosure filed with Türkiye's Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Goldman Sachs International purchased 1.05 million Sabancı Holding shares on October 19, 2026. The transaction was executed at TRY 85.29 per share, bringing the total purchase value to approximately TRY 89.3 million.

Following the transaction, Goldman Sachs' stake in Sabancı Holding increased from 2.99% to 3.04%. The latest purchase comes shortly after the US investment bank also increased its holdings in Kardemir, drawing attention to its continued investments in Turkish equities. Goldman Sachs has therefore maintained its share-buying activity in two major companies listed on Borsa Istanbul.
