Dollar was the week’s only winner
Most investment assets in Türkiye lost value during the week of September 25 to October 2.
The BIST 100 index ended the week down 4.88% at 12,270.18 points, while gram gold fell 1.53% to TRY 6,613.
During the same period, EUR/TRY declined 0.69%, while USD/TRY gained 0.14%. This made the dollar the only asset among stocks, gold, the euro and the dollar to finish the week with a gain. Investment funds lost 1.86%, while pension funds declined 0.96%.
