Dollar was the week’s only winner
The US dollar was the only major investment asset to post gains in Türkiye’s domestic markets this week.
USD/TRY rose 0.38% to 48.9660, while the BIST 100 index ended the week down 2.90% at 12,899.35 points. Gold per gram also fell 1.61% to 6,716 liras.
During the same period, EUR/TRY declined 0.18% to 55.8560, while investment funds lost 2.36% and pension funds fell 0.33%. Among investment funds, money market funds delivered the highest weekly return with a gain of 0.66%.
