Turkish Treasury posts TL 329.9 billion cash deficit

According to the data, Treasury cash revenues totaled TL 1.391 trillion, while cash expenditures reached TL 1.721 trillion. As a result, the Treasury recorded a cash deficit of TL 329.939 billion in October. The deficit narrowed from TL 467.2 billion in September.

Non-interest expenditures totaled TL 1.442 trillion in October, while interest payments amounted to TL 279.078 billion. The primary cash balance posted a deficit of TL 50.861 billion, while the increase resulting from exchange rate differences was calculated at TL 2.581 billion. The net cash and bank account balance declined by TL 189.993 billion. During the first 10 months of the year, the Treasury's cumulative cash deficit reached TL 2.2015 trillion.
