Netherlands annual inflation rises to 3.4%

The Netherlands' Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased 3.4% year over year, matching market expectations of 3.4%.

Annual inflation accelerated slightly from the previous reading of 3.3%, indicating a modest increase in price pressures.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.1%, slowing from the previous 0.3% increase. Despite higher annual inflation, the slower monthly rise points to a mixed inflation picture that may be relevant to the European Central Bank's monetary policy outlook.
