Attacks intensify in Strait of Hormuz
Iran’s increased attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz have renewed security concerns at one of the world’s most critical energy transit routes.
Several tankers in the region have reportedly been targeted by projectiles and other munitions in recent days.
The escalation comes as oil exports from the Middle East recover toward pre-war levels. With tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz increasing, concerns are also growing that further attacks could disrupt oil and LNG shipments.
