ING forecasts lower inflation in Türkiye

According to the institution’s forecast, annual inflation is expected to continue falling from 31.5% in August, while monthly price growth in September is projected at 2%.

ING said food and education prices are expected to contribute to the moderate monthly inflation outlook, while higher transportation costs could create upward pressure. The decline in annual inflation is also expected to be supported by a favorable base effect from the high inflation recorded during the same period last year.
