UK, Germany, France, Italy PMI data announced
The UK Services PMI rose to 52.1, beating the 51.7 forecast, while the Composite PMI reached 52.0.
Germany's Services PMI came in at 52.9 and the Composite PMI at 53.8, both matching expectations and indicating that economic activity remained above the 50 expansion threshold.
France was slightly weaker, with the Services PMI at 51.2 and the Composite PMI at 51.1, both below forecasts.
Italy showed the clearest deterioration. The Services PMI fell to 51.7, well below the 54.5 forecast and the previous 55.2, while the Composite PMI dropped to 51.0 versus the 53.2 forecast.
Overall, activity remained in expansion territory across the four major European economies, but the figures point to a notable divergence in momentum.
