Japan PMI data declines
Japan's services PMI fell to 51.7, down from the previous reading of 52.0. The 0.3-point decline indicated a moderation in growth momentum across the services sector.
Meanwhile, the final composite PMI declined to 52.1, compared with the previous reading of 52.3. Both indicators remained above the 50-point threshold, signaling continued expansion in economic activity. However, the modest slowdown could influence Japan's economic outlook and Bank of Japan (BoJ) monetary policy expectations.
