Rent increase cap set at 31.49%
The maximum rent increase rate applicable to residential and commercial properties in October has been announced.
Following TÜİK’s September inflation data, the rent increase rate, calculated based on the 12-month average CPI, was set at 31.49%.
The rent increase rate stood at 31.79% in September. Accordingly, a tenant currently paying TRY 20,000 in monthly rent could see their rent rise to TRY 26,298 if the full 31.49% increase is applied.
