Diesel prices jump as gasoline gets cheaper

Fuel prices in Türkiye were adjusted on October 10, 2026, with diesel prices increasing by TRY 6.36 per liter due to rising costs in the international diesel market, while gasoline prices fell by TRY 0.96 per liter.

The latest adjustment sent diesel and gasoline prices in opposite directions.

Following the changes, diesel prices reached TRY 96.55 per liter on Istanbul's European side, while gasoline prices declined to TRY 83.79 per liter. Rising cost pressures in the global diesel market contributed to the sharp increase, while fluctuations in fuel prices remain an important factor affecting transportation and logistics costs.
