Palantir’s £330 million deal faces political pressure
Some members of the UK’s governing Labour Party have prepared a motion calling for the termination of the £330 million contract between US technology company Palantir and the National Health Service (NHS).
The motion cites Palantir’s software support for the Israeli military and allegations related to human rights violations.
The motion is expected to be put to a vote at the Labour Party’s annual conference. While the vote would not be legally binding, its approval could increase political pressure on the party leadership over the future of the NHS contract.
