Supply pressure continues in oil markets

Oil prices declined as crude exports from the Middle East remained strong and G7 countries decided to release emergency reserves into the market.

Brent crude fell to $100.28, while US WTI dropped to $89.33.

Oil exports from the Middle East exceeded pre-war levels on some days during the final week of September, while the G7 decision to release 100 million barrels of diesel and crude oil from reserves eased supply concerns. However, ongoing regional conflicts and risks to oil infrastructure are limiting the decline in prices.
