CMB orders liquidation of Hedef Portföy funds
The Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB) has decided to place investment funds established by Hedef Portföy Yönetimi AŞ into the standard liquidation process.
The regulator approved the initiation of liquidation proceedings by excluding funds previously designated for liquidation from the interim payment arrangement.
Under the new decision, the liquidation of Hedef Portföy funds will be carried out in accordance with the principles established for A1 Capital, Bulls, and Pardus portfolio funds. Accordingly, payments to investors will be governed by standard liquidation provisions.
The CMB also completed its investigations into trading activities involving shares of Vişne Madencilik (VSNMD) and Işıklar Enerji (IEYHO). The regulator decided to file criminal complaints against a total of 37 individuals, including 22 in connection with Vişne Madencilik transactions and 15 related to Işıklar Enerji trading. Two-year trading bans were imposed on the individuals and entities concerned, while the capital markets licenses of 21 individuals were also revoked for the duration of the trading bans.
