CBRT revokes Parakolay's license
The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) has revoked the operating license of Parakolay Elektronik Para A.Ş.
According to a decision published in the Official Gazette on October 10, 2026, the company's authorization to operate as an electronic money institution, originally granted on July 28, 2022, has been withdrawn.
The CBRT's decision, dated October 7, 2026, was based on Article 21, Paragraph 8 of Law No. 6493 on Payment and Securities Settlement Systems, Payment Services and Electronic Money Institutions. As a result, Parakolay's electronic money institution license has been terminated, removing its authorization to issue electronic money and provide payment services under that license.
