CBRT launches AI-powered economic data access
The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) announced the launch of EVDS-MCP, a new system that enables users to access economic and financial data through artificial intelligence tools.
According to the announcement issued on October 26, 2026, the service expands the data access channels of the Electronic Data Delivery System (EVDS), allowing users to retrieve economic indicators through AI-powered applications. Integrated into the EVDS 3 infrastructure introduced in January 2026, the system aims to make economic data more accessible and easier to use.
The CBRT noted that its EVDS platform has been providing economic and financial market data to the public since 1993. The central bank emphasized that the new service is limited to making data available in a format compatible with AI tools and that it is not responsible for the outputs generated by these applications. The terms of use and user guide for EVDS-MCP are available through the EVDS 3 platform.
