TL deposit rates hit three-year low

According to CBRT data, the average interest rate on TL deposits with maturities of one to three months fell to 36.9% in the week of September 25, dropping below 37% for the first time since 2023.

TL deposit rates, which stood at around 50% at the beginning of 2025, declined to 36.9% by the end of September 2026. During the same period, the CBRT’s weighted average funding cost stood at 36.9%, while commercial loan rates remained at 39.9%.
