Trump signals oil prices could fall
US President Donald Trump said oil prices could return to previous levels, or even fall further, once the situation with Iran is resolved.
Trump argued that resolving the Iran issue would not take long and suggested that the current elevated level of energy prices would be temporary.
Trump also said European countries would help support diesel supplies, easing concerns in that market. He added that the US would contribute to global energy supplies and said no export ban would be imposed.
