Türk Telekom's profit beats expectations
Türk Telekom reported a net profit of TL 7.7 billion in the third quarter of 2026, exceeding market expectations of TL 6.7 billion.
The company's revenue for the July–September period increased 12% year over year to TL 86.4 billion. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose 6.9% to TL 37 billion. Although revenue and operating profitability exceeded expectations, net profit declined 42% year over year due to rising financing expenses.
The company's total subscriber base increased by 905,000 in the third quarter, reaching 58.5 million, while growth in fixed broadband and corporate data services supported revenue. Türk Telekom's revenue for the first nine months of the year rose 10% to TL 236.6 billion. Meanwhile, its EBITDA margin declined to 42.9% in the third quarter, with the growing share of information and communication technology projects in total revenue among the factors influencing the company's profitability structure.
