Türkiye's external debt due within a year reaches $243.3 billion
According to short-term external debt statistics released by the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT), the country's external debt obligations maturing within one year, based on remaining maturity, stood at $243.3 billion.
The figure includes both debt originally issued with short-term maturities and obligations initially classified as long-term debt that must be repaid within the next 12 months.
The data is significant for assessing Türkiye's external financing requirements and foreign exchange liquidity. External debt rollover rates, foreign exchange reserve trends, and global financing conditions will be closely monitored in the coming period.
