Türkiye's exports reach $211 billion
Türkiye's exports rose 5.2% year over year to $211 billion in the January–September period of 2026.
According to data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), exports in September surged 15.4% annually to a record $26 billion. Exports over the past 12 months reached $283.7 billion.
During the first nine months of the year, 18 out of 26 sectors recorded export growth. The fresh fruit and vegetable sector posted the strongest increase at 42%, followed by ships, yachts, and related services at 35%, mining products at 20%, and the defense and aerospace industry at 16%. The automotive sector also accounted for a significant share of total exports, reaching $31.1 billion.
Meanwhile, exports declined in eight sectors. The steepest decrease was recorded in the olive and olive oil sector, where exports fell 28%. The figures indicate that while Türkiye's overall exports continue to grow, performance remains uneven across sectors.
