Türkiye’s risk premium rises above 250 basis points

Türkiye’s five-year credit default swap (CDS) rose to 251 basis points, reaching its highest level since May.

The increase in the country’s risk premium drew attention as the effects of the ongoing fund investigation continued to weigh on domestic financial markets.

Among emerging markets, Türkiye recorded the second-highest risk premium, behind Argentina, whose CDS stood at 703 basis points.
