Türkiye's producer inflation rises in October
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) released the Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) data for October 2026.
Producer prices increased by 1.65% month over month, while annual producer inflation reached 27.41%. In September, producer inflation stood at 2.07% monthly and 27.38% annually, indicating that price increases slowed on a monthly basis in October but edged higher year over year.
Among major sectors, mining and quarrying recorded the highest annual price increase at 35.12%, while manufacturing prices rose 29.04%. The 12-month average change in the Domestic Producer Price Index was recorded at 27.83%. The figures indicate that although the monthly pace of production cost increases has slowed, annual price pressures remain persistent. Additionally, the 12-month average D-PPI rate played a decisive role in calculating Türkiye's revaluation rate for 2027.
