Vance signals caution over Iran

US Vice President JD Vance said security measures in the United States are being reviewed against potential Iran-linked attacks following clashes in the Strait of Hormuz.

Vance said there is currently no indication of any specific or unusual threat.

Vance said the US would exercise the highest level of vigilance in protecting its assets both at home and overseas, adding that the administration remains “extremely cautious” regarding Iran.
