Yılmaz comments on fund market concerns
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz said the recent issue in Türkiye’s capital markets is temporary and limited.
Yılmaz stated that the Turkish economy’s macroeconomic fundamentals remain strong and said administrative and judicial measures continue to be taken to address the situation.
Yılmaz argued that there is no structural problem in the capital markets, adding that relevant institutions are working in coordination. He said that once the current issue is resolved, Türkiye’s capital markets are expected to continue on a stronger path.
